How much does the system cost and what is the transaction rate?
Currently PayRange is offering discounted hardware for a limited time with $29.95 BluKey (hardware) and 3.49% USA (4.25% Canada) credit card transaction rate. (Due to industry associated processing costs, the Amusement devices transaction rate is 5.25%.) There is a one-time $20 Service Bundle Fee per device that covers: account setup & activation, machine decal(s), harness (if applicable), Manage Account & reporting, training, and customer support. A PICS Fee of $0.01 per transaction also applies.
How easy is it to set up an account and install a device?
In most cases, installation is plug & play and takes 2-5 minutes depending on machine model. See link to our setup and install guide: PayRange Operator Resources.
Which machines are compatible with PayRange?
PayRange works with most commercial machines that accept payment. Vending machines on the MDB standard are plug and play. Laundry machines must be commercial with an electronic payment system. Coin drops are always compatible, coin slide and other machine types may require the use of our Mechanical Timer Module as an add-on or must have a control board and send pulses. Card Ready machines are compatible.
Once installed, what more do I need to do?
As part of the installation process, you will need to apply a small PayRange supplied instructional decal to each machine so that machine users will know PayRange is installed and available. Additionally, you will need to registerer the BluKey device(s) to your PayRange Manage Account to receive payment.
How do I promote PayRange to my customers?
To promote PayRange as a payment choice to your machine users, PayRange supplies marketing materials available for free download: here and for purchase here.
How will I get my money?
Funds to you will be transferred at the end of each settlement term (once weekly). PayRange collects machine sales from Sunday to Sunday and deposit weekly payments into your bank account each Tuesday (banking holidays apply).
What type of support is there for users and operators?
We have 24/7 support staff for users and operators. If operators require Tier 2 support, follow-up will be during normal business hours Pacific time.
What type of payment can user’s use?
Credit/Debit card, Apple pay, Google pay, ACH from bank account, and EBT.
